Alja Poljšak (Attorney at Law & Partner)

In 2012, Alja Poljšak graduated from the Law Faculty in Ljubljana with the diploma thesis entitled “Right to vote in a referendum” under the mentorship of prog. dr. Igor Kaučič. During her studies, she worked in the legal service of Deželna banka Slovenije. As an attorney trainee she was employed at Law Firm Miro Senica and Attorneys, where she continued to work as an attorney candidate after she successfully passed the state legal exam in 2017.
She has been acting primarily in the areas of civil, enforcement, compensation, contractual, commercial and criminal law, in which she represents clients in courts and before other authorities, and insolvency law, within which in addition to bankruptcy proceedings (of legal and natural persons) and compulsory settlement procedures she also participated in the financial restructuring of companies. At the same time, she has been also focusing on the field of public procurement and the area of copyright and industrial property rights.
From February 2018 she continues her career in the Law Firm Pirc Musar & Partners. In December 2022, she became a partner in the Law Firm.
