Ula Tomaduz

Ula Tomaduz graduated with honors (cum laude) at the Law Faculty of the University of Ljubljana in 2014 and then in 2015 also gained her master’s degree (cum laude) at the same faculty. During her studies she complemented her legal knowledge by working in the area of public institutions and nongovernmental organisations and for a few years she also spread the horizons by working as a flight attendant. In January 2016 she started working as an attorney trainee in the law firm Miro Senica and attorneys, later that year, in June 2016, she got employed as a judge trainee at the High Court in Ljubljana. After passing the state bar exam with honors, she was a senior judicial advisor at the District Court in Ljubljana.

She has devoted her work mainly to the criminal and misdemeanor law, but also to the classic civil law disciplines. Valuable experiences she gained working at the courts help her represent the clients before the courts and other state institutions better.

Ula is a mediator, she is fluent in English and French and she is also a PhD candidate at the Law faculty of the University of Ljubljana where she is doing research into women as murderers in the light of the battered woman syndrome.

In January 2019 she has been a member of the Law firm Pirc Musar & Lemut Strle, Ltd. team, since October 2020 as an attorney at law.
